The Register’s In-Mold polycarbonate shell is made of the exact same foam and the exact same EPS liner as Giro’s top-of-the-line models that cost six times as much.That means you get the same single-piece, shock-absorbing chassis as on the more expensive models that keeps the helmet incredibly strong but light at the same time.
On board you’ll also find features skipped by many of its competitors, like a removable visor, reflective decals for visibility at night, and Giro’s Acu-Dial retention system so you can precisely tune the fit of your helmet to match your head best.

By developing proprietary shell sizes based on specific customer groups, and combining them with an easily-adjustable fit system, it is easy for you get the right fit, straight out of the box, without the hassle of expense of trying multiple sizes.
In-Mold™ constructon fuses a tough polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet’s impact-absorbing foam liner. The fusion process allows for better ventilation systems, making in-mold helmets lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.
